Thriller Target Audiences
Me and Harry chose to concentrate on one thriller in particular this is because the thriller genre will attract so many different types of people it will be hard to analysis it in detail.
Most thriller target audiences will have the demographics of age 14 or above. This is because in some thrillers they do contain some scene were younger people will be distressed. The gender for this particular movie would be predominantly male because of the mise en-scene used in Speed which is cars and guns. The class which we would link to Speed would be C2/A this is because after a hard day at work which they would like to relax and maybe get out of the real world were they have to work for a living and let their imagination run wild and their brain to relax. The hobbies of the typical person that would watch Speed would be someone that watches films based on violence, also they would be socially active what i mean by this is they wouldn't live a work orientated life they would also have a social life which could include going out with their mates to the pub and relaxing.
